Annual meeting Sept. 12, 2 pm. IPM emailed the info about it and proxies August 20. To vote, one must attend in person or assign their proxy to someone; unassigned votes default to the developer. IPM, property management group in Arden, NC  828.650.6875 for proxy forms, due Sept. 10 by 5 pm.

Owners, we are electing an owner led Board at our upcoming meeting. There is a self submission form available for a board position on our owners website, https://www.chinquapinowners.com/. Look for it under the HOA tab. The deadline for self submission is 9/5. If you have questions email info@chinquapinowners.com

This website is the communication & information source for our owner-led HOA, and will house HOA materials and send emails to owners communicating the HOA changeover process. The site is secure; only verified property owners are members.Val Talley & Martha Dobson, the site's admins, update membership as properties are sold & bought, too.

To the best of their ability, Val Talley & Martha Dobson have identified owners who aren't on these 2 information sources--those folks will get an initial letter to their property deed address explaining the changeover to an owner-led HOA and encouraging them to join the website & be listed on the directory. LLC or other entity owned properties---To connect a person with an LLC or trust and a property/ies, please send the owner's or the manager's name & contact information to info@chinquapinowners.com. This information will be held privately off the website.

Owner Directory--this is a private directory on the website that Val Talley & Martha Dobson initiated about 4 years ago to foster connections amongst our neighbors. Most people send their names, Chinquapin lot # or address, email address & phone numbers. Some include their fulltime address, too. This directory is helping to build the official HOA directory of owners.

www.chinquapinowners.com changes---The Calendar tab is now in a drop down menu under Owner Resources. There's a new HOA tab on the home page where HOA materials will be housed. Speaking of Owner Resources, you can find important contact info for employees & utilities. The Stuff You Need to Know menu item has contact info, UPS/FedEx/US mail info, a restaurant listing, emergency numbers, medical offices/care, & a local services listing.
