Chinquapin Owners,

Included here is a high level summary, recording links, and the updated Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) from the Townhalls.
Townhall Summary
Dates: Dec 17-18, 2025
Attendance: 136 participants called in and we’re estimating nearly 200 people heard the Townhalls. We had fantastic participation and questions!
Lead Speakers: Allen Dobson, HOA President and Doug Barber, HOA VP Administration
Moderator: Kay Lucas, HOA Board Secretary
The meeting focused on conducting a Q&A session primarily about town halls and discussing a comprehensive developer buyout that transferred ownership of properties and amenities while implementing strict deed restrictions. The board addressed legal and financial aspects of property acquisition, including financing options and the importance of affordable payments for homeowners. The group also discussed assessments, budget, and reserve funds, conservation areas, and mapping green and common spaces, while touching on developer agreements, property transfers, and voting procedures for the community.
Respectfully,
Your Chinquapin HOA Board
