January snow showed up just after the New Year and cold temperatures are hanging around. Thank you to the Cheadles for the snow photo of the Dobson house.

Stuff You Need to Know---under the Owner Resources tab. When we get all flustered about the gates, the water, the power, when is the party, or I didn't get that email, these phone numbers, email addresses, names of people and Chinquapin-related businesses are here to help.

Emergency phone numbers for Jackson County emergency services, medical care resources, and local community services follow. All this information will stay on the website, so you can refer to it, or refer others.

No need to Google or WhatsApp. Add these numbers and names to your contacts, or your list, or however you keep important info at hand.

Don't risk becoming an inactive website member. Open the notifications the website generates. Wix has it set up (I can't change it) so that if a website's member does not open several consecutive notifications, the member becomes inactive. Active or Inactive members appear to be important to business-related websites. To become active again, open any recent website notification in your email.

Maps & Trails on the website error---when the cursor is placed on the words Maps & Trails, a drop down menu that says Chinquapin & Panthertown appears. DON'T click that. It doesn't work properly and shows only Panthertown info. INSTEAD, click on the tab itself to get to the page. On the page, there are 2 buttons; one says Chinquapin Trails Site, the other says Panthertown Valley Information (scroll to see that one). Click those buttons to reach the relevant info.
