Because of a shipment delay for the new flooring, renovations that were scheduled to begin today (June 22, 2026) in the Fitness Room at the Outpost have been pushed back to at least the Fourth of July Weekend.
The room will now stay open through July 5 and is tentatively scheduled to be closed for renovations beginning the morning of Monday, July 6.
The renovations will take several weeks.
Expect new flooring and refurbished equipment that includes a Life Fitness Discover SE treadmill, a Precor 865 upright with p62 console bike, and a Precor 835 open stride elliptical/stair stepper combo machine (similar to the one pictured above).
The gym equipment company will also repair the current multifunctioning strength machine. Exercise mats, resistance bands, kettlebells, and medicine balls join the existing free weights.
We will let everyone know when the room is ready again for use.
Looking ahead, we ask when you use the room, please get in the habit of cleaning the equipment with the easy-to-use supplies that will be installed as part of the make-over.
